SAfe Guarding Policies
Children and Young People - East Berkshire golf club understands that every adult has a responsibility to protect children and young people from abuse. It follows therefore that sporting organisations, and this includes golf clubs, have a moral and potentially legal obligation to ensure they provide the highest standards of protection for children and young people within their care. Because of this the ‘Children in Golf Strategy Group’ (CiG) together with England Golf have produced a set of guidelines for County Golf Unions and their affiliated golf clubs. East Berks has developed their policy and procedures for children and young people based CiG's and Eg's Child Protection Awareness program with the title of “Keeping children safe in sport”. Please
