Thank you so much for a wonderful day at your club yesterday. Everyone was so helpful from arrival till we left. The course was in great condition and the greens ‘very slick’. The food and service was simply superb and much appreciated by all. A personal thank you for all the very kind help you gave – I promise we will return.
Ron - WAGGS GC (Aug-10) Can I mention just how much I enjoyed playing the East Berkshire for the first time today. I often send my comments good and ‘constructive’ to venues I am visiting. The organisation and administration was seamless. The course was presented wonderfully well despite the lack of rain for many weeks. The catering was as good as I have experienced anywhere. Many congratulations to the East Berkshire on staging a truly wonderful event. Even if you don’t hear them in writing I am confident I echo the sentiments of all the competitors. "Just a quick thank you for a superb golf day on Friday, a big thank you to yourself Julianne and also to the chef for a great breakfast and evening meal, also the marshall gave us great assistance on the day with course knowledge, longest drive and nearest the pin, all the staff were only too willing to help with any requirements we had, a big thank you to the bar staff as I know we kept them on their toes, and one last thank you to the green staff ,everyone agreed the course was in excellent condition and a course they all would certainly play again.
Hopefully we will see you in the near future and again a big thank you to yourself for such a well organised day."

In spite of the difficult weather over the past few months, there were very favourable comments on the condition of the course; please pass on our thanks to your Course Manager and his team.
Our thanks also go to your catering team in the dining room, and to your bar staff, for the super food and drink and friendly service. Finally, thanks to you Colin and your office team for all your help with our arrangements. We hope that we will be able to organise a return visit next year."

I have played at a number of local golf clubs with the Barclays Pensioners, and I am very pleased to say that the East Berks excelled itself, and was by far the best club we have used to date. Everything was well organised, from arrival, early refreshments, the Marshall (Allan) starting the teams off, the state of the course, and finally the meal at the end."

Mindful of the atrocious weather and low temperatures which we have experienced during these past months, the course really was payable and the greens in excellent condition. The food was exactly as requested and presented to a high standard.
