Established a little over a century ago, East Berkshire Golf Club is located in the village of Crowthorne, a few miles from the Hampshire and Surrey borders. Originally a heathland course, it has matured into a tree-lined course of great beauty.

Shaped fairways leading into well-defined semi rough helps to identify the driving areas and carefully placed greenside hazards ensure that wayward shots are unrewarded. Golfers of all abilities will leave East Berks with a desire to return and attempt to better their rounds, if only by a shot or two.

East Berks' famous guests are too numerous to mention. The South Africans Bobby Locke and Gary Player were frequent visitors to the club in the 60's and 70's. More recently Luke Donald played many times in pursuit of 'The Stag', the club's premier amateur competition.

A warm welcome is offered to all visitors (famous or not), both societies and individuals. Applications for membership are welcomed in particular from existing golfers new to the area. Good food and drink can reduce the effects of a poor round of golf, so take comfort in the reassurance of both. The club's well-stocked professionals shop is on hand to supply your every golfing need from tees and balls and clothing, even a better swing!
